Ahava Students
Ahava Students meet on Sunday mornings during Morning Worship @ 11 AM and on Wednesday nights @ 7 PM in the fellowship hall!
We're split into two classes by school grade: K-3rd and 4th-8th
Sundays
Miss Jami currently teaches K-5th grade on Sunday mornings. The kids start out the class with a fun filled game usually geared towards the lesson they will learn that day, followed by being taught a Bible story and then each child gets an age appropriate workbook to complete an activity! Snacks are had, songs are sung, and crafts are sometimes crafted, ensuring that your child will have a fun filled time learning about the Bible!
Both groups of kids are currently going through The Gospel Project for Kids by Lifeway! The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation.
Wednesdays
Our Wednesday nights start out as a whole group. All of Ahava Youth gets together to worship, lead by our worship band! Once worship is over kids either go with Mrs. Whitney (K-3rd Grade) or Miss Jami (4th-8th Grade) to dive into their lesson for the night!
Both groups of kids are going through Explore the Bible by Lifeway! Kids don’t need to grow up to study the Bible—the Bible grows with them! Explore the Bible: Kids will help your kids read and study God’s Word book by book in a way that is fun, age-appropriate, and sustainable for a lifetime.
